Transfers: Arsenal Football Club struggling to get a deal over the line for Thomas Partey

Arsenal’s head coach, Mikel Arteta have always wanted to make quality signings for his side so that they can compete for major honours next season.

One of such players, is Ghanaian International, Thomas Partey who plays for Atletico Madrid as a Central Defensive Midfielder.

Partey is one of the best defensive midfielders the Spanish La Liga can boast of. He is very composed on the ball and strong with his tackles. The duo of Henderson and Fabiano can testify to the quality of Thomas Partey after the Atleti man kept them quiet for most part of the clash between Liverpool FC and Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal Football Club have being consistently linked with the signature of the Ghanaian International since Matteo Guendouzi made it clear recently that he wants out of the Emirates.

Atletico Madrid are willing to sell the Arsenal Football Club target for a huge Transfer fee of £45million which is equivalent to €50million.

According to popular Italian Journalist, Fabrizio Romano via his official twitter handle and multiple reports on various sites, Arsenal Football Club have launched their first official bid for Thomas Partey.

Arsenal Football Club who have struggled defensively all season, were said to have launched a bid for the player in the region of €25million plus a player (identity of the player not disclosed).

Atletico Madrid were said to have rejected such bid, and are only going to consider an outright selling of Partey, if his release clause of €50million is met.

Arsenal Football Club will feel hard done in this very one, having seen their arch rivals Chelsea Football Club sign their targets with ease. The Blues have completed deals for Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, with another for Kai Havertz almost over the line.

The Gooners will face Chelsea Football Club in the FA cup final which is scheduled for 1st August, 2020.

Do you think Arsenal have all it takes to sign Partey from Atletico Madrid?
