The Indianapolis Colts have multiple importnat decisions to make this offseason involving their offensive line.
With two starters set to become free agents this month in Ryan Kelly and Will Fries. Along with Braden Smith’s future seeming to be up in the air. So depending on how free agency shakes out, offensive line could be a major need for the Colts in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Colts seem to understand that, and have had a formal meeting with one of of the top offensive linemen in the class. And he just sso happens to be a big fan of Quenton Nelson‘s game.
Colts had a formal meeting with Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker
According to the player himself, the Colts have had a formal meeting with Alabama offensive guard Tyler Booker. Booker is viewed as one of the best offensive lineman in the 2025 NFL Draft class and is a consensus first round selection. If the Colts were to land Booker it would likely have to come either at pick 14, or after a trade back int he first round.
Booker is very well rounded with him projected as a difference maker in both the passing and running game. If the Colts lose Fries in free agency, the need for a player like Booker would certainly elevate.. He would be a day one starter and would get the opportunity to learn from Quenton Nelson, a pro he has looked up too for quite some time.

During Booker’s availability at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, Booker was asked about which pro players he personally watches and tries to emulate in his game. His answer was “Trey Sermon number one, I like watching Landon Dickerson a lot, and I’ve watched Quenton Nelson even back into middle school.” He later discussed the possibility of joining the Colts and being on the same offensive line with Nelson and being able to learn from one of his biggest NFL influences. Here is what he had t say: “Being able to play with Quenton Nelson would be great. Someone I’ve been watching for a long time who has had a lot of success in the league. So being able to learn from him and be in the same room with him would be great.”
