Since Matthew Stafford arrived in LA with the Los Angeles Rams, he and his wife Kelly have been active in the community. This has always been something that has been important to the family, which is evident by the lasting legacy that they left behind in Detroit.
Wednesday night was just the latest example of this as the Staffords surprised the Pasadena High School football team during their team banquet. They will be gifting the program with new uniforms, pads, and cleats.
The school, which is very close to where I live and where my daughter attends elementary school, sits right at the base of where the Eaton Fire began. The school building itself was salvaged, but hundreds of students and staff lost homes and possessions, and the entire student body and faculty were drastically affected.

This is just another small gesture that Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly exemplified to uplift their community.
The Pasadena football team had a very up-and-down 2024 season, but they caught fire in the playoffs and won the CIF Division 13 Championship. They will look to build on that for the 2025 season, and they will look good doing it, thanks to the Stafford’s generous donation.
