BREAKING!! New England Patriots Fans Are Unhappy As Patriots Super Bowl Champion Sign With An AFC Team.

Lawrence Guy, a patient, has discovered a good landing place.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the veteran Patriots defensive tackle has signed with Cincinnati and will immediately be added to the 53-man roster.Prior to his departure in February, Guy had played seven seasons with New England.

With the Patriots, the 34-year-old participated in 118 games and had two appearances in Super Bowls, winning one of them. Strong defensive tackle Guy, who recorded a quarterback hit on Jared Goff in Super Bowl LIII, played 55% of the defensive snaps as New England defeated the Rams 13-3. Guy was nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in New England in 2022 and was named to the Patriots All-2010s Team.

Guy’s job in Cincinnati will be to assist the Bengals, who are 0–2, in turning around their dismal start. Given the ailments to starter defensive tackles B.J. Hill and Sheldon Rankins, the 14-year veteran may see action soon if he stays in good condition.

Even with Christian Barmore on injured reserve, the Patriots defensive line has performed admirably without Guy despite his steady presence. With two games played, New England is allowing the second-fewest rushing yards per game on the ground—58.0—in the league.
