SPORTS:Indianapolis Colts Should Trade for This Perfect Anthony Richardson Weapon..
The Indianapolis Colts are hoping to see young quarterback Anthony Richardson figure things out during the 2025 NFL season. After two years of subpar performances and injury problems, there is real doubt about Richardson’s future. To that end, general manager Chris Ballard went out and signed free agent quarterback Daniel Jones to compete with the former Florida Gators’ standout. Richardson will be entering a make or break season in 2025. Ballard and the Colts should give him every possible bit of help that they can.
With that in mind, there is one player that Indianapolis should try to pull off a trade to acquire. Right now, the Colts hold the No. 14 overall pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. However, the perfect pickup for the offense would be Penn State tight end Tyler Warren. There is a good chance that Warren will be selected ahead of Indianapolis. Ballard should attempt to trade up to get him.
Moving up from No. 14 to the No. 7 or No. 8 area would not come cheap. Warren would be well worth the price tag. During the 2024 college football season with the Nittany Lions, Warren put together a big year. He caught 104 passes for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns.
