The NRL grand final is upon us, with the big game at Homebush seeing the Melbourne Storm and Brisbane Broncos lock horns.

Please note that as the ACT, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania all began daylight saving time at 2am on Sunday morning, Queensland will be one hour behind the Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) for the grand final. All times below are in AEDT unless noted otherwise.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm (AEDT) or 6:30pm (AEST) for Queensland viewers, but the dayโs many festivities will get going long before the Panthers and Storm begin to slug it out.
The NRL have in recent times begun to adhere more strictly to that start time, having become famous in the past for heavily delayed kick-offs for both grand finals and State of Origin events.
The gates will open 1pm (AEDT) โ so get there early and enjoy all the action in the lead-up to the actual game.
The NRL State Championship kick-off is at 1:20pm (AEDT), with the Burleigh Bears and New Zealand Warriors doing battle for the right to be named the countryโs (or in the Warriorsโ case, the regionโs) best second-grade team.
These matches will be broadcast live and free on Channel Nine around the country, as well as on Fox League and Kayo Sports.
Then at 3:55pm, we have the NRLW Telstra Womenโs Premiership Grand Final between the Sydney Roosters and Brisbane Broncos.
At 6:30 pm (AEDT), the pre-game show begins, which includes the grand final entertainment. This yearโs entertainment is headlined by American singer Teddy Swims.
The NRL has confirmed Swims will perform despite cancelling two shows in Hawaii in the past week due to illness.
After that, itโs time for the main event. After the national anthem, the match will begin at 7:30pm (AEDT). It will be broadcast exclusively on Nine and its streaming service, 9Now.
At approximately 9:20pm (AEDT), assuming no extra time, the match will finish and be followed by the post-match presentation. This includes the Clive Churchill Medal, awarded to the best player on the ground, and of course the lifting of the Provan-Summons Trophy.
