Brisbane Broncos have revealed their training plans ahead of their World Club Challenge clash against Hull KR, and will use a state-of-the-art training base to prepare for the fixture
Head coach Michael McGuire, who was boss of South Sydney Rabbitohs when the side defeated St Helens 39-0 in the competition in 2015, vowed to take the competition seriously, and with their schedule now set, it’s fair to say the Broncos have pulled out all the stops to defeat the Robins.
Flying to the UK on February 10, just over one week before the game, the NRL Champions will use The Lensbury training centre in London, a world class facility used by the likes of the All Blacks and Manchester United in previous years.
The pitches there are classed as Grade 5, the same as Wembley Stadium, with the complex also having gym and swimming facilities, as well as professional chefs on hand to cook personalised meals for the players.
Before they make the trip to the Northern Hemisphere, the club will go on a two-week training camp in Toowoomba, as they look to dot the i’s and cross the t’s ahead of their 2026 campaign.
