Broncos squad member, Hayze Perham, has signed a one-year contract extension with the Club until the end of 2026.
The 26-year-old has played 35 NRL games for the Warriors, Eels and Bulldogs and joined the Broncos at the start of the 2025 season.ย

In unfortunate circumstances, the fullback ruptured his ACL in the Broncos pre-season trial match against the Titans in Toowoomba.
In his 30-minutes on the field, Perham had one try assist, 62-run metres and 17 post-contact metres

Since then, he has been working through rehabilitation and has his sights set on the 2026 season.
Perham said he was grateful the Broncos gave him another chance.
โObviously, things havenโt turned out how I hoped, but I’ve enjoyed being in every day around the boys,โ he said.
Rehab is always a tough slogโฆ but Iโm learning a lot by being around the group and Iโm having a lot of small wins with them
General Manager of Football Operations, Troy Thomson, said he canโt wait to see Perham return to the field.
โHayze has had a bit of bad luck with injury this year, but the coaching staff have all been really impressed by the way heโs gone about rehab,โ he said.ย

โReturning from an ACL rupture is hard physically and mentally, but heโs taken it in his stride.
The contract extension will give Hayze an opportunity to get back on the field in 2026, which we’re very much looking forward to
